Together with nine other talented women, I was a winner in the “InnovateHERs of Gameplay” category at the gamehers Awards 2025, through the online nomination and voting process.

Unreal Fellowship: Games

Selected for Unreal Fellowship: Games 2025, where I developed a complete prototype using Unreal Engine.
The program included intensive training in visual scripting with Blueprints and the opportunity to showcase our projects at Unreal Fest 2025 in Orlando, USA.

She Got Game Program

I was selected by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss foundation for arts and culture, as part of the She Got Game program, which supports female talent in the video game industry.
Thanks to this recognition, I represented Peru at Gamescom 2025 (Cologne, Germany) as part of the official SwissGames delegation.

Description: Loonchies is a 2.5D mobile game that combines a tycoon setting with pet-care features, which you’ll have to build facilities to satisfy the necessities of your loonchies: silly little creatures that can’t survive on their own.

  • Conducted research and benchmarking of similar games.

  • Developed core systems: creature needs, life system, rewards, game currency, and progression.

  • Created the main narrative: synopsis and character dialogues.

  • Organized Gantt charts and outlined development milestones.

  • Scrum Master: sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospectives.

  • Created a pitch deck for publishers.

  • Developed a landing page to showcase the game.

  • Designed core mechanics: camera perspectives, animations, hiding spots.

  • Crafted and balanced level design and layout.

  • Conducted playtesting and adjusted gameplay mechanics for balance.

  • Led the art direction for the game's visual style, selecting the color palette and designing the textures to enhance the overall aesthetic.

  • Designed the game's itch.io webpage for promotion.

Description: Tom8-0 is a typing game where you control a small robot that loves plants. But be careful! If you don't complete the word in time, it will explode!

  • Led the game development during the first phase of the game jam.

  • Designed the first version of the UI for menus and HUD.

  • Developed a pitch deck and scripted, recorded, and edited its video version.

Description: A knit in the museum is a 2D stealth platformer in which you’ll be trapped inside textiles from around the world, and your mission is to escape before the museum closes its doors, while evading the guard.
Platform: PC (Windows)
Softwares: Unity (C#), Visual Studio Code

Responsabilities

  • Designed and implemented key mechanics: item collection, stealth & hide, and time-limited levels.

  • Coded player movement and hiding mechanics.

  • Developed the tutorial system for smooth onboarding.

  • Integrated dialogue animations for narrative enhancement.

  • Created and programmed all game menus for intuitive navigation.

  • Identified and resolved bugs to ensure a polished game.
